Simon was elected as a Borough Councillor for Wolston and the Lawfords in May 2022 and is a member of the Planning Committee. Simon is Deputy Mayor for 2023/4. Simon has been actively involved with the OurJay Foundation, as well as being involved in local groups in Long Lawford, where he lives.

Brandon Stadium & Back Lane - The Local Plan

A formal consultation on the main modifications to the Local Plan is open until 5th October. The Local Plan sets out where housing and employment in the borough should be allocated. The independent Inspector made suggested changes following the public examination earlier in the year.
