Free Weekend Parking to Continue

Rugby’s ruling Conservative cabinet have agreed to continue a popular scheme which provides free weekend parking in the town centre yesterday evening.

Council in Bid to Save 100 year old Oak Tree

Cllr. Howard Roberts, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for environment and public realm, said both David Wilson Homes and the county council had committed to explore all options to save the oak tree on Ashlawn Road in a recent council press release.

Draft Plan Available For All To See

The draft South West Rugby Supplementary Planning Document supports the borough's Local Plan, which was adopted by the Council in the summer. The site, includes approximately 390 hectares of land between Cawston, Bilton and Dunchurch.
