Admirals and Cawston borough councillors met recently with RBC officers and the Parish Council to look at a wildflower specific pockets of land owned by the council where grassland grazed by cattle has become greenspace surrounding homes and public walkways. Some of these areas were left deliberately to 'wild up' however grazed land is nitrogen heavy and poor for wildflower meadows. Cllr. Watson-Merret, "The wildflower meadows as a project of this nature, takes years to propagate and seed, watch this space for a future rich in diversity for sharing with birds, butterflies and pollinators."
